1. Project Overview
Walhallow Aboriginal Corporation Health Services (WACHS) invites tenders from qualified grounds maintenance contractors located in Tamworth and the Liverpool Plains region to provide regular site and grounds maintenance services at the Coledale Community Centre, located at 2B Kenny Drive, Coledale NSW.
2. Scope of Services
The successful contractor will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and presentation of outdoor areas, including but not limited to:
- Lawn mowing and edging
- Garden bed maintenance (weeding, pruning, mulching)
- Tree and shrub trimming
- Rubbish and green waste removal
- Pathway clearing and pressure cleaning
- Regular inspections and reporting of hazards
- Seasonal maintenance tasks as required
Contractors must supply all tools, machinery, and materials necessary for the services.
3. Service Frequency
- Fortnightly scheduled maintenance
- Additional call-out services as required
- Flexibility for seasonal or event-based adjustments
4. Eligibility Criteria
This RFT is open to contractors who:
- Are based in Tamworth or the Liverpool Plains area
- Hold current ABN, public liability insurance (minimum $10 million), and relevant WHS certifications
- Have experience delivering grounds maintenance for community or health facilities
- Can demonstrate a commitment to culturally respectful service delivery
5. Submission Requirements
Tender submissions must include:
- Company profile and relevant experience
- Description of proposed services and frequency
- Schedule of rates (including hourly rates, fixed service rates, and any additional charges)
- Copies of insurances, licences, and certifications
- References from similar past or current clients
- Any value-add services (e.g. pest control, landscaping improvements)
6. Contract Term
The initial contract will be for a 12-month period, with the option to extend based on
performance and funding.
