Respect in Action: QHS Clontarf Marks White Ribbon Day

QHS Clontarf marked White Ribbon Day by coming together for a walk that focused on respect, connection and community, alongside Walhealth. Students took part in the walk with Walhealth staff, showing a shared commitment to standing against violence and promoting respectful relationships.

The group met with Walhealth’s Elders group for morning tea, where watermelon was provided and time was spent yarning and connecting with the Elders. This moment highlighted the importance of community and learning from Elders in shaping strong values.

Afterwards, everyone made their way back to the high school, where a short discussion was held about the meaning of White Ribbon Day and the role young men play in choosing respect in their everyday lives. The day was a simple but meaningful reminder that creating safe and respectful communities is something we all walk together in.
